About Me
I’m a session drummer specialising in creating musical, feel-driven drum parts for modern rock, pop, punk, funk, dance and heavier styles. My focus is always on serving the song — locking in the groove, shaping the energy, and delivering parts that feel confident, intentional, and finished.
I come from an originals-band background, which means I’m comfortable making creative decisions quickly and turning rough demos into strong, usable drum parts. Whether working remotely or in person, I aim to be reliable, prepared, and easy to work with — recording clean takes, responding quickly to feedback, and delivering exactly what you need.
Alongside session work, I’m also available as a live stand-in drummer, learning material efficiently and fitting seamlessly into existing bands and productions. If you need a drummer who brings musical judgement, solid time, and a calm, professional approach, I’d love to hear about your project.
I hold a Grade 8 Rockschool Drums qualification with High Merit and have over 20 years’ experience playing and recording in original bands and live performance settings.
How I Work
For remote sessions, I record clean, well-organised drum parts using a professional MIDI-based workflow, allowing for quick revisions and flexible delivery. I’m happy to work from demos, rough ideas, or fully arranged tracks, and I aim to turn projects around promptly with clear communication throughout.
With in-person sessions and live stand-in work, I come prepared, learn material efficiently, and integrate smoothly into existing setups. I value collaboration, respond openly to feedback, and keep the process straightforward so you can focus on the music.
Above all I’m professional. Alongside my session work, I’ve built a successful career in management consulting, which has sharpened my ability to understand client needs and deliver work on time and to specification.
